Does your kid love Minecraft? This will be a great opportunity to learn 3D Design, programming and digital movie making with the popular game. We start the session with story development - kids will team up and decide on the main characters and story line for the movie they are going to make. They will then create their own castles or theme parks with 3D Design. The design will be uploaded to Minecraft to be used as the movie setting. We then will learn to program custom skins, items and mods to dress up our characters and create unique building blocks. The story will be acted out on a private server with only the kids in the class as the players. The actions are captured and the students will edit them into digital movies. Taking DigiKidd Combo, Game Programming or Lego Robotics are highly recommended before this session.
Get the popcorn ready. We'll share their great productions at the end of the class.
What to bring:
You don't need to bring any device. Each student needs to have a Minecraft account/profile.
After you sign up for a class, the website will ask you to fill out a Student Emergency Contact and Waiver form. Please make sure you complete it, unless you have already completed one with us in the last 12 months. Teamworks requires the form to be on file before the student can join the classes. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
